HONG KONG HYPER POLICE
SYNOPSIS:

There are some humans who pose extraordinary powers by alien, technological or supernatural means. Some are born with it. These individuals are called Zeta-Supers. Those who are gifted with these abilities use their powers for several purposes: martial arts tournaments, helping humanity, and unfortunately, commit crimes.

In Hong Kong, the Zeta-Super criminal activity is such a major problem that the government created a special unit within the city’s police force whose mission is to deal with such crimes. They are known as the Hyper Crimes Division.

Two of the division’s best agents, hard-nosed inspector Jackie Li, and by-the-book rookie detective Fa-Wing Chan, both of them Zeta-Supers, tackle every crime caused by the city’s superhuman population. From cases involving homicide to robbery to terrorism, Li and Chan uses their powers, their martial arts training, and their detective skills to protect and serve the good citizens from the rising menace.

But one cannot fight these crimes alone. Li and Chan have assistance from their respective unit at the Hyper Crimes Division: Jacques, a streetwise seasoned Ex-Paris detective; Yuji, a former sumo wrestler and member of the Tokyo Police Department; Alice, a ditzy hero-worshipping transfer cop from New York; Bruce, a first-year detective, forensics and computers expert, and the nephew of the unit’s commander; David, ex-Navy SEAL now a liaison officer with the elite Special Duties Unit, and Annie, a lovable and nerdy radio dispatcher who is a Zeta-Super herself and does not know it.

But while the team takes their war on the streets, a sinister criminal organization called Dragon Claw sits behind the scenes from the shadows, planning a goal of world conquest.
