New York City has faced many adversities over the years, but none like this. A series of violent kidnappings and hostage situations have rampage the city. With the police and local enforcement officials having their collective hands full with the rampant crime and terrorist threats, the people have no one else to turn. But there is one option left: his name his Johnny Rush.

        A former FBI Hostage Rescue agent and Navy SEAL, Rush scours the streets, subways and sewers of Manhattan as a one-man rescue team: equipped and ready to defuse any deadly situation. And he has one more advantage in his favor, superhuman senses. An accident years ago almost ended his life but give him the ability of having his human senses evolved to superhuman sharpness: sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch. These abilities give him the edge when planning and executing a strategy when dealing with armed hostage takers and ruthless extortionists. And with an arsenal of weapons and highly-modified vehicles at his disposal, Rush is an unstoppable entity of justice.

        With aid from a former US Army pilot and a disgruntled NYPD detective, Rush takes on the criminal element and rescue those in peril. But as he later uncovered clues leading towards a dangerous crime syndicate whose behind these events, the pieces of the puzzle may lead to a conspiracy involving police corruption, military cover-ups, an old enemy and a possible hostile takeover on the city’s local government.

·    Johnny Rush – Johnny Rush was a former decorated Navy SEAL and an FBI Hostage Rescue Team member in New York. A terrorist incident in a chemical plant resulted in many innocent deaths and the bullet-ridden chemical tanks as a result of the earlier firefight engulf him with chemical fumes giving him superhuman senses (sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch). Unfit to serve the HRT, he was dishonorably discharged from the bureau. Looking for redemption, Johnny takes matters in his own hands and became a one-man rescue team with his hometown of New York City as his base. Equipped with a bio-suit laminated with triple bi-weave Kevlar and flame-resistant nomex material and circuitry, which enable him with twice the strength and speed of an Olympic-level athlete, Rush opens a rescue-for-hire business. Using his super-senses, his bio-suit, his knowledge of the city layouts and his SEAL training, Johnny goes into the most dangerous rescue missions no law enforcement agency would dare. He is supported by a streetwise NYPD detective, and a experienced helicopter ex-Army pilot. Johnny's favorite hobbies are reading Tom Clancy novels and repairing his rescue vehicles. Favorite foods are vegetables. He is a trained SEAL with expertise in weapons and hand-to-hand combat. His super senses were the result of the terrorist incident resulting in superhuman sight, hearing, taste, touch and smell. He has an arsenal of weapons, gadgets and heavily modified vehicles at his disposal.

TERI CHONG

·    Teri Chong – Teri Chong is a former US Army helicopter pilot who was discharged from Afghanistan. She is Johnny Rush’s pilot and assistant. A third-generation Chinese-American, Teri was raised in the streets of Brooklyn and knows more knowledge about New York’s non-Manhattan neighborhoods than Rush. Teri is brash and hotheaded, sometimes going for her instinct rather than following Rush’s orders and strategies in the heat of a situation, leading to her post-mission arguments towards Rush. But Teri is otherwise loyal to her partner, and dedicated to getting the job done. Teri’s favorite hobbies is training in flight simulators. Her favorite food is eggs served sunny-side-up. Teri is an expert helicopter and vehicle pilot, especially when her army training enhanced her skills under heavy pressure. She is trained in survival tactics and cross-trained with the US Navy in underwater operations. She is trained in military-style hand-to-hand combat. She is also experienced in aerial and maritime navigation, weapons training, and some expertise in undercover work ever since she teamed up with Rush. Teri has also assisted in missions with British MI6 agent David Alan Davis, and GOTHIC assassin The Cleaner.

JERRY JONES

·    Jerry Jones – Jerry Jones is a street-wise NYPD detective and liaison officer for Johnny Rush’s team. Born and raised in the mean streets of the Bronx, Jerry lived a live of safety until rival gangs gunned down his family. Jerry spent most of his teenage life as a gang member until an undercover cop arrests him for drug smuggling. The officer sees another chance in Jerry and to pay his dues for his crimes, Jerry joined the New York Police and became a responsible detective himself patrolling his neighborhood’s streets. Jerry is a seasoned street cop who was a concern and passion with his neighborhood and driven with a sense of justice to make his streets safe. He is dedicated to ridden the streets of the city’s scum and vermin poisoning his home with drugs and crime. And when the gritty urban decay is filled with increasing kidnappings and hostage situations, he turned to Johnny Rush and his partner Teri Chong, who when they first met, saved his life, for help. Jerry’s favorite hobbies are street basketball, listening to ’80’s R&B music, and playing pool. His favorite food is turkey wraps. His preferred off-duty beverage is lite beer. Jerry is experienced in tackling street crime and has contacts around the city. His preferred handgun is a Glock .40 semi-automatic. He is highly trained in martial arts and street brawling. He is also an experienced detective and interrogator.

EDWARD APOLLO

Real name: Edward Alphonse Apollo VI Eyes: Grey Hair: White with blue highlights Height: 6 ft. 2 in. Weight: 200 lbs. Occupation: Organized crime kingpin Preferred weapon: Katana blade Base: New York City

·    Edward Apollo – Edward Apollo is a fourth-generation crime kingpin who rules most of New York with an iron fist. He controls half the city’s council members and two-thirds of the NYPD. He is the person responsible for the recent escalation of kidnapping and ransoms across the city, a fear tactic used to frighten the local citizenry and pressure the other crime syndicates to submission. He secretly planned to install a puppet mayor in the upcoming election to take total control of the city, but a “small fly in the ointment” named Johnny Rush, a former Navy SEAL who he once clashed in battle while cooperating with his heroin-growing warlord contacts during the conflict in Afghanistan, interferes with his scheme. Apollo is now determined to eliminate Rush and his team and achieve his sinister plans for domination of the Big Apple. Apollo is a cold-blooded, cruel, and dangerous person, one you should never cross swords with. He takes pride in eliminating his enemies with icy precision and intense brutality. When pushed, he punishes his lieutenants for failure by slitting their throats with this katana blade. He will stop at nothing to regain in power despite threats from other rival syndicates and uncorrupted cops standing in his way. He lives in a secluded penthouse suite at a skyscraper equipped with hi-tech surveillance cameras and countermeasures as well as automated anti-personnel auto-cannons.
