·    Lisa Lovingston/Gorgeous Girl – Gorgeous Girl is a runaway alien princess to come to Earth in search of a new life away from a repressive galactic dictator who wants to marry her. She decided to move to Pretty Oaks to attend high school under her Earth alias, Lisa Lovingston, and began a superhero career. Since then, she became one of the most popular girls in school, adored my classmates and peers alike. She then stumbled into Louis Levy (aka Super Nerd, but back then, he had not taken the experimental super serum that soon transform him into the hero he is today) and she has a secret crush on him, much to the dismay of the other students who teased and tormented Louis. After Louis’ incident, Lisa found out about his secret identity then soon revealed to him that she is Gorgeous Girl. Since then she became Louis’ best friend, confidant, and crime-fighting partner. They protect the town’s citizens while helping each other on homework and social issues. Lisa is naïve is a little nervous about living in a different planet trying to understand their culture. She is kind, compassionate and cares for the underprivileged and advocates equal rights for all humans. She is romantically interested in Louis, seeing the inner beauty he possesses, not the outer. Her favorite hobbies are karaoke singing (she has a beautiful singing voice) and playing with puppies and kittens. Her favorite Earth food is Strawberry Sundaes. As Gorgeous Girl, her powers include flight, super strength and speed, invulnerability, freeze breath, laser vision, and the ability to travel through time. She is an expert in intergalactic martial arts and a quick learner in Earth-based fighting techniques. She is experienced in intergalactic diplomacy and political science. She used to be a team member for a now-dismembered super-group called the Super Troopers, but now she is a charter member of Captain Awesome’s superhero team, Team Awesome.

BUZZ BEEFCAKE

Real name: Buzz Eugene Beefcake Eyes: Dark brown Hair: Red Height: 5 ft. 8 in. Weight: 156 lbs. Occupation: High school student Base: Pretty Oaks, California

·    Buzz Beefcake– Buzz Beefcake is the star football player of Pretty Oaks High School. He used to be one of the school’s bullies who used to pick on frail students like Louis Levy by giving them wedgies. When Louis became Super Nerd, Buzz learned the errors of his ways and became Louis’ friend, though still gives him wedgies though just as a friendly gesture, occasionally defending him when he was still bullied by Buzz’s fellow jocks. Buzz joins Louis and his friends on various adventures. He has a business relationship (I.e. merchandising clerk) with fellow student and classmate Danny Menson, and has a girlfriend in one of Louis other friend, star cheerleader Julie Kwan. Despite Buzz domination on the football field, he is not intelligent on other field (it does not help him flunking in math and science, where he turns to Louis for help). He acts like a big brother to Louis, who is the only child in his family, although Louis still complaining about Buzz giving him wedgies. He has a caring and loving relationship with Julie and will give up his life foe her, although she feels uncomfortable of his goofball antics. Buzz can be heroic but ends up lying face down when facing a powerful adversary. His favorite hobby is football (what else?). His favorite food is beef stew.

MICHELLE JAMES

Real name: Michelle Phillips James Eyes: Blue Hair: Red Height: 5 ft. 3 in. Weight: 102 lbs. Occupation: High school student, amateur documentary filmmaker Base: Pretty Oaks, California

·    Michelle James – Michelle James is a reporter for Pretty Oaks High School’s newspaper and an inspiring documentary filmmaker who covers subjects like anti-war protests and the migration of big-city organized crime into town. She is also one of Louis’ few true friends; the only one to stands up for him when he is tormented by bullies and jocks. Ever since the accident that transformed Louis into Super Nerd, Michelle, in an odd way, used Louis as a “tool” to expose with rise of crime plaguing the streets, much to the chagrin to Louis. Michelle ends up as the not-so-unusual “dismal-in-distress”-type every time she gets her nose into trouble. Michelle is an opportunist, searching for a big story to make a name for herself. But unfortunately she has a knack for being kidnapped and getting herself into perilous situations that forces Super Nerd, an later a somewhat-jealous Gorgeous Girl, to rescue her. She also has a strong sense of justice, criticizing big government and the corporate right-wing media elite for manipulating the public on the truth and would someday expose them for the con artists, in her mind, are. Her favorite hobbies to collect documentary DVD’s. Her favorite food is Spaghetti with tofu. She carries a can of mace with her and is moderately trained in judo but ends up losing in a fight.

JULIE KWAN

Real name: Julie Kwan Eyes: Purple Hair: Blue Height: 5 ft. 1 in. Weight: 98 lbs. Occupation: High school student Base: Pretty Oaks, California

·    Julie Kwan – Julie Kwan is Louis Levy’s classmate and the captain of the school’s cheerleading squad. She is also school star football player Buzz Beefcake’s boyfriend. Often she distracts Louis to flirt with her to lure him to be psychically abused and bullied by Buzz. But after the incident when Louis ingested a super-serum that transformed him into Super Nerd, Julie began respected the misunderstood hero and tagged along with his adventures. Julie is a hyperactive person and the resident klutz. She is also kind of a flake. She seldom believes she can be dependent on Buzz to rescue her from perilous situations but ended up rescued by Louis. She can also be an annoyance at times, constantly barraging her friends with her never ending whining and complaining. She can also be a untimely distraction for Louis when he either have to save Michelle James and Gorgeous Girl when they in trouble at the same time Julie is. Despite these personality flaws, she maintains a heart of gold and sometimes can be heroic when helping people in need. Her favorite hobbies are folding paper birds and bicycle riding. Her favorite food is pineapple pizza. Julie is a skilled gymnast and athlete. She is also practicing Kung Fu at times but ends up accidentally hitting the wrong guy in haste.

DANNY MENSON

Real name: Daniel Ryan Menson Eyes: Brown Hair: Brown Height: 5 ft. 6 in. Weight: 125 lbs. Occupation: High school student Base: Pretty Oaks, California

·    Danny Menson – Danny Menson is the son of a professional white-collar con artist who is currently serving in prison. Danny decided to purse a career in marketing while he is saving money for business school. He was is also a “friend” to Louis Levy, pretending to be one actually while taking advantage of Louis’ torment and trails by the local school bullies at the gym locker room in order to secretly steal some loose change from their lockers. He also fashions himself as a ladies’ man, but gets slapped in the face every time he tried to “hit” on one of the school’s most popular. One day, days after Louis was involved in an accident which transformed him to Super Nerd, Danny was outside the school yards when he was attacked by members of The Council of Doom and Gloom. Super Nerd intervened and thwart the attackers, saving Danny’s life. In appreciation for saving his life, but more so an opportunity to cash in his recent fame, Danny became Louis’ manager and public relations consultant, and is in charge of merchandising and schedule Louis for several public appearances. Currently, Danny makes a killer profit in selling hi-grade Super Nerd T-shirts and is appearing in late night talk shows. Danny is mostly driven by money and fame with an over flatted ego to match, and does not care whatever happens to Louis even if the reluctant super-powered geek called him for help. Danny uses his newfound status to hook up with girls, but still gets slap in the face or even worse physical punishment for his mild perverseness and being the occasional peeping tom at the girls’ shower. He continues to have good relationships with Louis’ friends, Michelle James and Julie Kwan, although they still criticize him for not helping Louis enough when he is on several perilous situations. Despite these character flaws, Danny is forced to be heroic when push comes to shove, only so to keep his dubious reputation. Due to his frail physique, he cannot hold on his own in a fight, most of the time calling Louis for help. He has a “big brother” relationship with another of Louis’ friend and former tormenter, Buzz Beefcake. His favorite hobbies are counting money and wearing expensive Italian suits. His favorite food (?) is beluga caviar, although he ends up vomiting after at least tasting it.

·    Mr. Jacobs– Jonah Jacobs is the principal of Pretty Oaks High School, where Louis Levy (aka Super Nerd) studies. He is aware of Louis’ superhero adventures and remind him to do his homework, even while crime fighting. He is also the only person who knows the secret identity of Lisa Lovingston (Gorgeous Girl) and assigns her to be a watchful eye on Louis. As principal of the school, he oversee the safety and conduct of the attendees and has a no-tolerance policy on gang-related violence and drug use. He despises racism and hate-related violence. He has a headstrong 16-year old daughter who attends at a different school. His favorite hobby is ship model building. His favorite food are BLT sandwiches.

VENUS VALKYRIE
