ALEX YAMATO

Real Name:Alexander Yamato
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Brown
Height: 5 ft. 5 in.
Weight: 110 lbs.
Occupation: Intelligence agent, ex-special ops soldier
Base: Toronto, Ontario, Canada

In the early 1990's under the supervision and authorization of then-president George H.W. Bush, a top secret bio-genetic weapons program was initiated by the Pentagon to create the perfect super-soldier. It wasn't until after 9/11 that the program, with most of the test subjects still in pre-teen stage, were put into combat phase. Several of these subjects are deployed at Afghanistan and Iraq, posing as recruited child soldiers for the opposing militias, doing the military's wet-works and sabotage operations. One of those subjects is Alexander "Alex" Yamato (code name: Strike-202). Alex was trained to be an efficient killing machine like the other brethren in the program, but a certain Dr. Darryl Mertes, one of the concerned counselors assigned to him, against orders from his superiors, thought Alex compassion and human feelings in order to add a conscience on the reluctant boy. On a mission to eliminate a key "insurgent" operative, Alex and his team of child super-soldiers infiltrated a suburb of Baghdad to what was thought to be the target, which turned out to be an innocent family man standing in front of his wife and two children. Being ordered by his superiors to kill the target but refuses, Alex watched in horror as his teammates gunned down the family in cold blood. Upon returning to their home base in Minnesota, Alex was tormented by the haunting memory of the incident. Driven with angst and the desire to live a normal life, Alex and Dr. Mertes agreed to escape the facility to flee to Canada where they can be protected from the military. Upon escaping from the base in a government sedan, Dr. Mertes was fatally shot by one of the guard's M16 rifle. In his dying words, Mertes encouraged Alex to move on. Alex, pursued by Army Apache gunships, successfully made it to the Canadian border.

Days later, as fate would write out its' plan for him, Alex stumbles on a local auto repair shop in Toronto where he bumps into a teenage mechanic named Billy Francois and his slightly younger spunky sister Jeanette. Alex later accidentally discovered that the repair shop is a cover for an underground base where me met their father, Canadian Army General Douglas Francois. Soon impressed by Alex's extraordinary talents, General Francois invited him to join his just-greenlit international crime fighting group codenamed B.R.A.T.S. (Bureau of Readied Anti-Crime Teenage Specialists). Thus began Alex's crime-busting adventures as the field commander of the B.R.A.T.S., while making friends while catching the eyes of beautiful young girls in romantic interludes during his missions. But what happens if his past would soon catch up with him?

Alex is a kindhearted individual but is also driven with immense angst, especially when plagued with the haunting memory of that horrific mission in Iraq, as well as the death of his mentor Dr. Mertes, which forces him to occasionally cry angrily and pounds his fist in the ground in the midst of a mission, jeopardizing his teammates at a critical time. A young man still running from his past, Alex finds comfort in all of his fellow teammates, who are like brother figures to him, though Alex does not want to be reminded to his tormented past, which if they do, he would go into angry outbursts; this is one of Alex's psychological weak points. Alex is also stalked by Canadian Mafia princess Lucretia Logan, who is sexually obsessed with Alex and is determined to make him her husband, much to the chagrin of Alex, who rebutted her marriage proposes with forceful denials, even when under pressure from her ransom captures of his other comrades. Always noble and heroic, Alex is willing to sacrifice himself to save his friends no matter how insurmountable the odds. His favorite hobbies include reading crime novels and helping people in needs. His favorite foods are tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches.

Due to his genetic manipulation, Alex possesses lightly superhuman human speed, strength, stamina, reflexes and agility, even having twice these said attributes than the best professional athlete. He is a highly trained gymnast, athlete, swimmer and diver. He is a trained expert in advanced driving techniques and operation of all types of land vehicles (including tanks and Armored Personnel Carriers). He is experienced and trained in advanced electronics and computer hacking (he serves as backup for Billy, who is the team's resident hacker), criminal profiling and intelligence gathering. He is a seasoned veteran, even at a young age, in various undercover work. He is a high-level expert in over twelve styles of fighting disciplines including military-issue Close Quarters Combat (CQC), karate, kung fu, boxing, wrestling, jujitsu, tae kwon do, Thai kickboxing and judo. He is also trained in fencing, sword fighting and melee weapons combat. Although he does not carry a gun, he is highly trained in all types of military and civilian small arms and infantry weaponry as well as having advanced marksmanship skills on said weapons; he sometimes uses an assault rifle or submachine during missions, but because of the tragic Iraq mission, he resorts to disarming assailants when shooting. He is a gifted tactician and strategist. He is also a qualified and licensed rotary aircraft and helicopter pilot.
