Following 9/11, the U.S. Military began experimenting with cyber-technology creating androids which can be used for intelligence gathering and black ops. Their prototype of their artificial human computer, A.L.I.C.E. (Android Life-form Integrated Computer Entity), was created to hack into enemy communications and e-mail. But when bounty hunter Ricochet Knievel was in the top-secret facility in pursuit of a bounty head and inadvertently stumbles upon the room where A.L.I.C.E. was restrained to a water-filled storage tank and plugged with several electronic wires, he thought she was kidnapped and was used for their inhuman experiments. So he unknowingly "rescued" her and she later helps Ricochet in capturing the pursued fugitive. Now pursued from the government, A.L.I.C.E is now a member of the Bluegrass crew providing intelligence and valuable information on bounty heads.

A.L.I.C.E. is an emotionless girl, who dedicated her loyalties to which she believe is pursuing a more moral cause more so than her creators. She does not have any favorite hobbies and since she is a half-organic android, she has to rely on baby food to sustain her organic muscles and immune system.

A.L.I.C.E. may have the appearance of a 16-year old teenager, but she is technically created two years earlier. She is a hybrid of cybernetic and organic limbs. Her brain is half-artificial organic, and half electronic with an advanced data processor system that gives her the ability to process and gather more information than the latest computers. She has the ability to hack into any computer and electronic system and also access top-secret encrypted databases. She can connect to Ricochet’s and Stacy’s (Lovejoy) cell phones with digital photos and data including combat strategies on hostile targets, as well as weakness to some metahuman threats. As motioned, she has a sensitive immune system and must be fed a strict diet of baby food to maintain her delicate system as well as nourishing her organic limbs.
