David Chow is the Hyper Crimes Division Special Weapons officer and liaison to the HKPD’s Special Duties Unit. David is an ex-Navy SEAL who moved to Hong Kong, his birthplace, after being dishonorably discharged from military service in Afghanistan for disobeying orders. Since then, David became a rising star within the ranks of the SDU. But an encounter with a dangerous Zeta-Super terrorist convinced the HCD’s commander, William Wong, to recruit Chow to his unit. David, when off-duty, is a easy going person, but when on duty, he’s a stoic professional, even when it comes to life-threatening situations. He is bound by honor by both his Eastern religious beliefs and his former military code. Although sometimes brash and hardheaded, David is always a team player, and will never leave a person from his team left behind. His favorite hobby is scuba diving. His favorite food is cinnamon flavored cereal. David was a well trained soldier and SDU operative whose professional expertise are in urban combat and pacification. Although his preferred combat weapon is a standard-issue MP5A4 tactical submachine gun, he prefers employing non-lethal munitions including CS gas grenades and beanbag shotgun. Unless it is a high stakes mission, he only uses lethal force as a last option. He is also have been educated in Western law practices.
