Fa-Wing Chan is a former homicide detective and undercover operative with the Hong Kong Police Force before transferring to the Hyper Crimes Division and became Jackie Li’s partner. Unlike her partner’s brash attitude and methods of crime fighting, Fa-Wing keeps a cool and leveled head. She approached a dangerous situation with better judgment and carefully examines it without going headfirst into trouble. Like her partner, Fa-Wing also has a dedication to the force with passion and driven by a sense of justice. At first, she does not se eye-to-eye with Jackie whether they in peril or arguing about each other’s social skills, but Fa-Wing slowly gets along with Jackie as they partnership grows, although they still argue on something. Her favorite hobbies are attending social events in expensive evening gowns, and collect antique and rare European dolls. Her favorite foods are beef dumplings and barbecued pork. Her preferred drinks are green tea with a touch of lemon and diet cola. Like all other Zeta-Supers, her standard abilities and powers include temporary flight, projecting fireball-like projectiles from her hands, and enhanced strength and speed. Her special Zeta-Super skills are teleportation and a diversionary tactic called “flash flare” which she concentrates her chi energy and use it to engulf her body in a blinding flash, a common tactic used when cornered or surrounded by adversaries and opponents. Also like all Zeta-Supers, she has a five-minute limit for continuous use of her abilities: if she continues to strain her powers beyond the five-minute mark, she will lose them completely and became as vulnerable as an ordinary human for at least 24 hours before her powers return. She is a trained detective and experienced in undercover work and sting operations. She is an experience and professional interrogator; a skill she learned from months from her cross training with the US Central Intelligence Agency. She is speaks multiple languages including Cantonese, Chinese, English, French, and Japanese. Her preferred fighting styles of martial arts are Kyokugen Ryu Karate and Judo. She is trained in pistol marksmanship and SWAT-issue weapons. Her preferred weapon is a Glock 22 handgun. She drives in her 1976 Ferrari 512 Bbi sports car.
