Juan Jimenez is the team’s grenadier. He was a former Navy SEAL who served on the same unit in Afghanistan with Ricochet Kneivel (from Blackbird Bluegrass). He was court martialed for exposing military corruption with the country’s heroin kingpins and refusing to transfer to Iraq. Before being recruited to the team, he served as a security guard in his native Brooklyn, New York. Juan is adrenaline junkie. Feeling the rush whether in a noble battle or riding is his motorcycle in top speed. He sometimes is brash and goes headfirst into danger and has a reputation for refusing orders and going with his “gut instinct”. But overall, Juan tries his best to try not to be another “fish-out-of-water” stereotype. Despite his personal flaws, he is professional especially under pressure. As mentioned, his favorite hobby is motorcycle racing. His favorite food is Mexican-style pork and beans. Like most of his teammates, Like most of his teammates, Juan is infused with nanomachines enabling him with athletic-like strength and speed as well as enhanced senses, superhuman agility, reflexes and combat capabilities. Juan is an expert in artillery weapons and grenade launchers. His primary combat weapons are any type for revolver-type grenade launchers, with either an H&K MP5 submachine gun or a short-barreled M4 carbine as a backup weapon. He is trained in SEAL-issue hand-to-hand and close-quarter combat techniques. He is a qualified radio communications expert and helicopter door gunner. Like his teammates, he is implanted a internal communications module surgically emplaced inside near his skull that enables him to “cyber-link” with his other teammates.
