Lawrence Allbright is the head of the NYPD Major Crimes Task Force. He is also Jonathon Reed’s most trusted friend (ever since they were cadets at the academy) and the only one who knows his secret identity as Black Shadow. A 15-year veteran of the force, Allbright was promoted to head the unit via request of the police commissioner, due to his outstanding service record in routing out organized crime and corruption within the force (with the assistance of Black Shadow). Allbright briefs Shadow and his partners on various cases involving superhuman criminal activity. Allbright is a man with honor and a strong sende of justice. He will never bow down to corruption and will sacrifce everything in the pursuit of justice. He also has a trusting relationship with Black Shadow and supports his cause to help bring the most dangerous criminals to justice. Favorite hobbies and food are classified.
