Nastumi Kirk is a radio communications officer for mercenary John Bullitt’s elite rescue team. She is a half-Japanese/half-American and a former member of the Japanese Self-Defense Force whose father is an admiral in the US Navy fleet stationed in Okinawa, Japan. Bullitt recruited her after providing his team with information in a high-risk mission in Tokyo. Despite her young age (19 years old) she has proved to be a valuable asset to the team in providing necessary air support and reinforcements when a mission goes hairy. Natsumi is a hard working type, who thrives to be as successful as her parents. She is very talented in her skills and is willing to help her comrades whenever they are in a pinch. Natsumi is always adventurous and loves to travel the world to meet other peoples and cultures. She is a tad sensitive and sometimes disagreeing with some of her other members, leading to mild arguments. Nastumi’s gifted is skilled to match by her determination and sheer will to help her teammates. Her favorite hobbies are repairing CD and shortwave radios. Her favorite food is Mongolian Beef. Like most of her teammates, Natsumi is infused with nanomachines enabling her with athletic-like strength and speed as well as enhanced senses, superhuman agility, reflexes and combat capabilities. Her specially designed uniform has a special material with the ability to switch between camouflage patterns (i.e. desert, jungle, urban, etc.). It can also have an option of “optical camouflage”, making the wearer invisible to the naked eye. Natsumi is gifted telecommunications experts with experience in computers, satellite navigation systems, telephones and hand-held electronics. She is an expert in pistol marksmanship and is trained in karate and judo. She is trained in multiple languages and is a qualified helicopter pilot. She also has extensive espionage and intelligence training. Like her teammates, she is implanted a internal communications module surgically emplaced inside near her skull that enables her to “cyber-link” with her other teammates.
