Roger Connors was a Navy SEAL joining Michael Richton (later known as American Soldier) in an inter-branch joint counter-terrorism task force in Afghanistan, who thought him everything to know about SEAL tactics. Years later as a favor from Michael, Roger re-teamed with him as the Soldier 6’s main tactician and enemy analyst. He is also the resident weapons expert of the team. Roger, though fashions himself as a professional soldier, treats Michael like a younger brother. He is always the babysitter taking care of Michael’s restaurant and keeping a eye on his sister most of the time. Roger will never let his friends or his teammates down and is ready for the challenge of being a team player. He is cool-headed and calm in combat, even during the team’s more intense battles. He is a proud patriot but is mostly critical of Republicans and warmongers sending the nation’s military into wars of personal choice (hence he is a strong critic of the Iraq War). His favorite hobbies are target shooting and playing tactical computer games. His favorite food is military-issue MRE (Meals Ready To Eat) rations. Roger is a veteran SEAL, experienced and highly trained in Close Quarters Combat, weaponry and underwater demolitions. He is a master strategist and tactician, informing his teammates about enemy strengths and weaknesses. He prefers Navy-issue weapons like the MP5 submachine gun and the M4A1 carbine. He also is a qualified aircraft and helicopter pilot and maritime vehicle operator as well as an expert in advance driving techniques.
