VENGADOR KAMEN
SYNOPSIS:
Mexican-born billionaire jetsetter and world champion fencer and
acrobat Alexander De La Diego living a life of party going and
adventuring, when he returned home to Mexico City to claim his
inheritance from his grandfather who recently passed away. While
setting up for his new home in his grandfather’s mansion, he
found a secret that changed his life forever. Upon discovering a secret
room hidden under the mansion were news clippings, rusted gadgets and
the wrinkled, aged costume of one of his childhood heroes, the
legendary swashbuckling crime fighter “The Masked Matador”.
Alexander now found out that his late grandfather was Mexico
City’s first costumed protector famous for battling American
gangsters and Nazi spies in the early 1940’s.
But after seeing the rise of
crime and corruption in the city streets, Alexander uses this
opportunity to use his fencing skills, acrobatic agility and his
grandfather’s legacy to create a new breed of crusader to take
back the streets of Mexico City and protect the citizens from those who
would do harm. The only trouble is… he does not have the
experience or know-how to be a crime fighter.
Now using hi-tech gadgets, and
hours of research reading comic books, the hapless but confident
Alexander dons the guise of “Vengador Kamen” (former is
Mexican for “Avenger”, latter is Japanese for
“Mask“), romantic defender and scourge of all evil, at
least in his own mind.
But due to his inexperience and
his occasional goof-offs, Vengador was at first considered the laughing
stock of the city, and to the eyes of the police force, a wanted
vigilante who must be apprehended at all costs. Facing impossible odds,
and a bad publicity campaign from the media, even masked crime fighters
need help.
And help comes by a young
wanderer named Rafael Francisco, who, for his age, is a lot smarter and
mature then Alexander. Rafael reluctantly teams up with him as his
sidekick El Poncho. Also assistant is Alexander’s frustrated by
somewhat loyal butler Nigel and his cute Japanese maid Kanako, who also
became sidekicks and assist Vengador in his epic adventures.
Now pursued by a determined
police inspector, target by a vicious drug kingpin who rules the city
with an iron grip, and helped unexpectedly by a sympathetic and
beautiful female reporter who moonlights as his rival and occasional
ally Dark Rose Blossom, Vengador Kamen has to get over his inflated ego
and compensate for his inexperience as well as trusting his friends to
rid Mexico City of the evil that is plaguing the city. It is a tough
job, but some jerk got to do it.

take drastic measures. Julia is a proud and dedicated cop. She would
never let corruption and crime ruined her city. She is always
frustrated and angry to failing to capture Vengador Kamen leading her
to occasional stress-related outbursts at work. She even is a little
envy of Vengador’s flirtations and romantic quips any time they
encountered each other. On a few occasions Vengador dated Julia on
candlelight dinners, which usually ends in disaster when Julia tries to
slam the handcuffs on him. Julia is danger-prone and sometimes ended in

usually relies on her fellow detectives Juan Sanchez and Jose Gonzales,

exploits help the city’s citizens and stemmed the rise of crime
and corruption in his department, he also believes, like Julia, that
Vengador is an illegal vigilante and should be brought to justice by
any means necessary. Although Gonzales would like to stick with his
partner in serious situations, he is mostly lazy and sleeps at his desk
while the duo is not on patrol, and at Sanchez’s car when they
are. Gonzales has a chubby physique as a result of hours eating glazed
