Debra Delores Dunning was one of MIT’s promising graduates who dedicated to use her invention skills and science knowledge to good by joining the Pittsburgh Police Department. After being one of the department’s fastest growing stars, she was promoted to become the youngest detective ever in the force. She was also offered a stint to the department’s crime scene lab when she was recruited to the newly commissioned, government-funded independent law enforcement agency, Global Investigations Agency. Debra was ecstatic to join the latter, but fate brought her to team up to what may be her worst-case scenario, a partnership with the bumbling new member of the agency, Andy Andrews, codenamed Detective Action. Now Debra, commissioned the codename of “Debby Danger” has to keep up with the accident-prone yet gifted detective on global cases and missions against the crime syndicate CALAMITY. Debby is usually a resourceful and confident agent, but ever since she was partnered with Action, she became a sort of powder keg waiting to blow off. Debby is always frustrated with Action’s attics, and always forced to live with his goofing off, despite her hidden feelings with him. She has a hatred for snakes, rats and bugs. Her favorite hobbies are repairing IPods and MP3 players. Her favorite food is apple turnovers. Debby is a seasoned detective with special expertise in forensic science and criminal psychology. She is a skilled electronics and computer expert. She is highly trained in hand-to-hand combat (a black belt in karate and judo) and marksmanship. Despite occasionally carries a Sig-Sauer 9mm pistol; she is forced to carry a GIA-issue laser pistol, which has stun and lethal settings capacity (it is issued to her by the agency’s armorer).
