Ginger Hale is a starry eyed, flirty and extremely clumsy high school student from the peaceful town of Heavenly Springs in Southeastern Canada. She used to lived a life like any other teenage girl, but one encounter will forever changed her life, and set her destiny. One while going for a stroll with her best friend Gigi Matthews, the only person who so far knows that about Ginger having gained and developed strange and unusual powers, Ginger was ambushed by a couple of notorious space mobsters sent by alien criminal mastermind Dominus Destructicus with orders to kidnap her. Although accidentally gotten the upper hand over her foes earlier, Ginger was overpowered by the mobsters' super-strong henchman. Then out of nowhere, a blast of concussion phasers stunned the brute and repelled the mobsters, saving Ginger and Gigi from certain doom. When the girls later found out the source of the beams originate to a mini-patrol hovercraft, two officers from the galactic law enforcement organization IP (Intergalactic Patrol) introduced themselves and explain the reason why Ginger was targeted by the alien mob: it turns out that Ginger is a half-breed with an alien race called the Allureans, a race of invulnerable super-powered humanoid beings who years ago were brainwashed by Destructicus and his minions to be employed as their own personal army of henchmen enforcers. The officers, rookie Alan Alpha and first-year detective Dolly Delta are assigned to protect Ginger since she was rumored to be one of the last Allureans who escaped the mass-mind controlling. In their desperation to keeps things blacked out to the galactic media about her whereabouts and to further protect her identity, Alanne and Dolly made Ginger an IP officer, assigned to a newly constructed top-secret asteroid precinct orbiting Earth, which is otherwise declared a non-interference zone by galactic law. Taking advantage of the situation, Ginger uses her space cop job as an opportunity to fully utilize her powers, and a powerful crystal given to her by her mother, and became the town's local superhero. She now fights crime and injustice on Earth and on the farthest reaches of the universe as the beautiful defender of love and justice, known as Galaxy Guardian Ginger. Ginger is a sweet and kind girl, but she is also somewhat of a ditz and extremely clumsy and accident prone. Despite her flaws she matches them by her overwhelming compassion and strong sense of justice. She has a childlike sense of adventure and is always the romanticist, getting involving in helping people with love issues. She also has deep feelings of Alanne. She is also proven to be a true companion to almost all of her crew, especially her childhood friend Gigi, but hated being bickered by constant complaints and criticism by fellow officer Sonj-ya Solaflare and do not like being flirted by an overzealous Cosmos Centauri, another officer in her crew. She also gets annoyed by her irritating little brother Josh Hale, which leads to shouting arguments where Josh has the upper hand, whether Ginger likes it or not. Realizing her dreams of seeing other galaxies and worlds, Ginger is determined to live up to any challenge. Her favorites hobbies includes signing, flirting with guys and collecting Japanese Anime posters. Her favorite foods are meat lasagna, garlic fries and onion rings. Due to her half-Allurean physiology, Ginger has some of the abilities she possesses from her alien half: flight, super-speed, invulnerability, laser vision and emitting a wide variety of power beams from her hands (beam, magnetic, ice, etc.). But her human half prohibits her from possessing an Allurean's other abilities: super-senses, ability to survive space (she needs the aid of her IP-issue force shield bet activator to help her with space flight); and consists of her vulnerable human organs (heart, lungs, kidneys) and digestive system, probably may lead to internal injuries due to blunt force trauma when she is not mentally concentrating on her strength. Though Ginger is super-strong, she is barely half as strong as other superheroes (Pulsar Pureheart and Superhawke for example); she can barely lifts at least cars and heavy vehicles, but barely can lift a jumbo jet or a freighter ship without slightly injuring her body and needs assistance. She also possess a mystical crystal, an Allurean relic given to her by her mother in which she later found out its' true purpose. The crystal, used activated by a magical chant "Allurea Cosmic Enlarge, Transform!", can make enlarge her up to 50 feet high and back again (perfect for battling monsters and steeping on boyfriends who broke up with her). Ginger is equipped with her standard issue computer gauntlet in her left arm which contains a space locator holographic map (similar to a GPS), a defensive shield protecting her from missile and heavy weapon attacks, and an "arsenal access" radio where she can access Patrol standard-issue weapons including a blaster pistol, a plasma rifle, a plasma sword, and a broad sword.
