Josh Hale is Ginger Hale's 10-year old adoptive younger brother who discovered her secret identity when she saved him from an encounter with an alien monster rampaging on Heavenly Springs, which Ginger later defeated. Josh learns about Ginger's position in the Intergalactic Patrol that he wants to be part of the team. With the blessing of fellow officer Alanne Alpha, Josh was recruited to Ginger's team, much to the chagrin of Ginger herself. Always the wild card of the team, Josh tags along with a frustrated Ginger and her friends in several outer space adventures busting intergalactic criminals and saving planets, and he proved time and again that despite Ginger's constant whining and complaining, Josh is the team's valuable asset.

      Josh is your average wise guy and constant annoying troublemaker. He is notorious for his big mouthing and getting Ginger and her friends into several troublesome situations. Josh and Ginger get into heated arguments often, leading to their parents (whey the siblings are not on a case) or Alanne and the rest of the team (when they are) to restore order and calm between the two. Always having a knack for adventure and excitement, Josh always tags along with any member of the team to help solve crimes and help citizens in need, and less time with Ginger, who is overprotective of her brother. Laid-back and carefree, Josh also proves to be the team's essential moral booster when they are down in their luck. He also don't mind to lend a helping hand when his friends needs serious assistance. His favorite hobby is snowboarding. His favorite food is chili dogs with extra onions. His preferred drinks are root beer floats.

      Josh is a trained in extreme skateboarding and dirt biking. He also used his time playing MMOPRG computer games and watching science fiction movies and anime to help him "prepare" for alien encounters, though that is slightly unnecessary. He is gifted in operating and firing stationary starship gun turrets and IP-issue missile targeting systems (thanks to his experience playing PC First Person Shooters). He is mildly trained on hover bike riding and computer hacking. Due to his age, he is given issued an IP-issue stun-only blaster pistol usually reserved for junior officers.
